The US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz seems like a dumb thing to do. But Iran is funding the war by charging a fee for passage and receiving Chinese shipments with military (drone) equipment using the Strait. Dumb war, but this move was inevitable because it’s moving into an attrition phase (not good for the US).
