It's been an eventful few months for me as I became a parent (Niamh is 3 weeks old now!), but also because after a rather long wait on the reserve list, my @ERC_Research Starting Grant AUGSOC (augsoc-project.org/) was selected just before xmas for funding (€1.5 million)!

Due to the whole brexit thing, this was ultimately funded by #UKRI via the Horizon Europe guarantee funding, and is due to start August this year, running for 5 years, recruiting 3 PhDs over the next two years in particular (advert on the website above!)
