Our school marked Remembrance Day with readings, music, and a moment of silence to honour those who have suffered and sacrificed in conflict.

Exciting opportunity for Head of Languages at the wonderful @TrumpingtonCC in Cambridge. Excellent behaviour, supportive leaders, great pupils and the most impressive school building I've set foot in. Deadline approaching. #mfltwitterati ce0374li.webitrent.com/ce037…

Fantastic day up in #Edinburgh for the 2024 Marathon. They promised a fast run, can confirm a marathon time of 3:45 and chip (27.27 miles) of 3:54. A pretty wet, but enjoyable day and great motivation from the crowds - hugely appreciated #emf2024 #edinburghmarathon @MrHairyHaggis

Meanwhile in La Réunion, outrage (and rightly so!) that a bus driver didn’t stop the bus after the nationally-recognised hand clap 👏 signal 😳
Le conducteur de bus refuse de laisser sortir une passagère, la vidéo devient virale, quelles suites ?

Originally, many buses didn’t have a bell, so clapping was devised as a way to indicate a desire to alight. The first time I heard this used, I could barely contain my amusement, but it gives a certain charm to an otherwise overcrowded and under resourced bus network 🇷🇪
