Dr. Fesseha Yetagesu, CEO of the Industrial Parks Corporation, reports that Ethiopia now hosts nearly 300 investors, with 40 percent of them being foreign direct investments, particularly from China, India, and other countries. These industrial parks have enabled Ethiopia to export over $1.5 billion worth of goods and have created nearly 90,000 jobs.

This is fantastic news that modalities to actualise the corridor are in fine print. I wish to advocate for *RING-FENCING* funding for skills development & value addition, particularly in Communities along the Corridor to avoid an ENCLAVE ECONOMY from this monumentous position.

Angola, DRC, and Zambia have moved from planning to execution! At the Luanda high-level meeting, leaders and global partners (EU, US, World Bank) agreed on a Master Plan to transform the rail link into a massive Economic Corridor.
