I don’t post a lot on here about business but from now on I’m going to be doing it more often. Over the years I’ve had a tonne of people reach out to me when they’ve been struggling with certain things in their lives and it’s taken an inordinate amount of my time, so I decided to build something to solve that problem. I know what it feels like to struggle, to face adversity, to feel lost, have no answers and feel alone. I know what it feels like to be stuck in the same routines, the same mindset, and the same cycle of falling off track. What I found over the years is that I didn’t need more motivation, and I already had a lot of skills, I just needed better guidance and better people around me, kind of like what I had when I was still in the military. That’s why I created the Kaizen Summit Community — a place for people who want to grow mentally, physically and professionally while being part of an empowering community that pushes each other forward. Doing life alone is can suck, but having the right guidance and the right people around you changes everything. If you have a minute please hit the link below and find out a little more about what we do in the site. There’s also a free quiz on there that’ll help you understand some of the reasons you might be struggling in certain areas of your own life. community.kaizen-summit.com

Harry Billinge landed on Gold Beach on D-Day at just 18 years old and never stopped honouring those who didn't return. As he often said in his favourite poem, "Do not call me hero... for all the real true heroes have crosses lined upon the grass."

16 years ago yesterday, we lost a brother. Marine Steven James Birdsall of Bravo Company, 40 Commando Royal Marines, passed away on June 14, 2010, at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, from a gunshot wound sustained in Afghanistan. On the afternoon of June 13, 2010, Bravo Company was securing a UK checkpoint in Sangin for Royal Engineers fortifying defences. At around 4:29 PM local time, Marine Birdsall was shot and immediately evacuated to Camp Bastion’s Role 3 Hospital, where he was listed as critical. On June 14, 2010, he was transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 12:29 PM. Forever remembered, Royal. Until the reorg.

Disgusting behaviour ganging up and jumping someone. I can’t stand bullies.
British police can we please see the same energy to arrest and deport these criminals attacking a 17yr old activist @YoungBobRB as you have arresting people at protests?!

Don't kill your dream with logic before you've given it a chance with action. Too ambitious. Too unrealistic. Too risky. But what if that thing you keep thinking about is there for a reason? Trust the dream. Make a plan. Take the first step. The rest will take care of itself. #NoLimits

I’m curious, when you think of masculinity, what does it mean to you? I’m keen to hear your definition.

🎉 Happy 107th Birthday, Colin Cole! Colin marked his remarkable birthday surrounded by friends at the Veterans' Centre at RJAH Orthopaedic Hospital in Gobowen. A D-Day veteran and the last surviving member of the RAF Sea Rescue team involved in the Normandy landings, Colin spent years rescuing downed pilots in the English Channel, later dedicating his career to teaching, educational psychology and supporting his local community. When asked about reaching 107, Colin's response was characteristically modest: "It's just another day!" His story is a powerful reminder of the generations of service, resilience and community spirit that continue to shape lives across the UK. And his secret to a long and happy life? "Mispent youth and keeping fit," he says with a twinkle in his eye. From everyone at Veterans’ Foundation, we wish Colin a very happy birthday and thank him for a lifetime of service to others. bordercountiesadvertizer.co.…

It’s finally happening… For years people have asked me when someone's actually going to tell my story properly. Not the headlines. Not the 30-second clip. The real thing. A Mark Ormrod documentary is officially in production. This isn’t me reliving Christmas Day 2007. I’ve told that story enough. This is everything that came after it. The messy bits. The funny bits. The hard bits. What rebuilding actually looks like when life changes overnight. Link in bio if you want to be part of making it happen.

I thought about going home every night for the first two weeks. I was 17 years old, away from home, surrounded by strangers, and completely out of my comfort zone. The funny thing is, whenever you do something worthwhile, there's usually a moment where you wonder if you've made a massive mistake. Starting a new job. Launching a business. Joining the military. Starting over after a setback. That feeling doesn't mean you're on the wrong path. Most of the time, it means you're growing. I'm glad I stayed. The best things in my life have come from pushing through the initial discomfort instead of running from it. #NoLimits
