Why have cloth seats in the first place... wouldn’t happen with plastic like most of the world’s metros use. Also seats along the wall would add about 30-40% capacity overnight.
Word of warning when travelling on @metrotrains. Had a lovely surprise this morning when I sat on a seat with around 20 needles sticking out of it 🤙🏼 #NeedlesOfMelbourne
