This is 100% wrong… 1. Drury has been with the organization since 2015 running player development. He has been in the front office since 2016 as an assistant GM. To say he had zero to do with those draft picks is asinine. 2. Lafreniere and Kakko were viewed as indisputable #1 and #2 picks in their respective classes. They weren’t reaches, they never developed, and just blended into the slop (under Drury as a GM). 3. Since he took over as GM, Drury’s draft picks have a combined 0.19 PPG as NHLers and with 12 of them yet to make their debut because his player evaluation is horrendous. 4. If Drury was such a victim to the previous GMs above him, why hasn’t he fired the inherited staff around him? Why has he expanded the analytics department within the organization? Why does every draft pick become a middle 6 forward at VERY best with below average skating ability or a slow defenseman who can’t move the puck? He’s just as guilty in all of this. This isn’t even half of how much of a cancer Drury is to the organization. Not even mentioning how much a delusional, egotistical, narcissistic liar he is. If you trust Chris Drury to turn this around, you haven’t been paying attention to the last decade of Rangers hockey. Stop defending second-fiddle garbage that does not deserve the benefit of the doubt. Some of us knew this from the very beginning. But I guess everyone needs to get burned 4, 5 or 6 times until they realize this is a dumpster fire with no way out, and maybe not listen to Drury’s media puppets who do damage control every time he does something completely incompetent. This franchise is now a complete embarrassment that no one has any answers for with the real problem making things up and lying because of it. Cut the shit already.

Il a également œuvré comme recruteur avec l’équipe durant plusieurs saisons, avant de se joindre aux Huskies de Rouyn-Noranda de 2019 à 2023. Il fera ses débuts derrière le banc dès demain soir face aux Mooseheads de Halifax, alors que Pascal Dupuis sera absent pour des raisons personnelles. #JeSuisCataractes
