Good basic explanation of what Game Theory Optimal really means.
Itβs also why @martomchatβs course Beyond the Solver starts with GTO baselines and then moves straight to looking at how you should deviate from those baselines versus the players youβre most likely to face at the table.

I donβt think most people actually understand what a solver is doing.
A solver isnβt just βtelling you the right play.β
Itβs making two robots play the same poker spot against each other over and over until neither one can easily exploit the other.
Thatβs the basic idea.
