Selling Mac Allister and Curtis Jones to fund Adam Wharton would be football malpractice. Build around elite players, don’t cash them in. If Wharton arrives, it should be to strengthen the midfield, not replace its heartbeat.

All that team was Klopp’s & Salah had a record breaking season with goals and assists he was unable to replicate last season. All Slot had to do in 2024/25 was guide the ship. He then scuttled that ship & replaced it with SlotBall.

I don't know about the part timer, but the training was great. That Slotball was a disaster, asking players to be extra careful. Guys couldn't express themselves on the pitch like before. I guess winning the league on his first season was coz the bulk of that team was Klopp's.

The board is full of FSG supporters. But as you say the one advantage of keeping him in post was watching Bournemouth go on the their unbeaten run & getting Iraola to replace Slot. He was always my first choice not Alonso.
