My first demo of a game I’ve been passionately working on.
I don't have any follower but still hope someone like it! then maybe I’ll keep posting updates here.
Big thanks to @PixelFrogStudio for the Tiny Sword assets.

Day 110.
This is the tutorial for the first stage of my game, hope someone likes it
It has been a while since my last post, I was super busy with my main job
I'm realizing that finishing what we started actually is the hard part for solo dev 😂

I just finished an idea for a 'Sun and Moon' rune system.
I’m not sure if it works, but I’m sticking with it for now, it already took me 3 weeks to finish 😂

Just updated the UI for my merge feature. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely an improvement over the old one! 😆

Devlog new feature update: Merge Hero
TLDR: Players can merge two same heroes to infinite stars or gamble for a new random hero.
----
The long story I want to share if anyone is bored enough to read 😅
Initially, I thought merging two same heroes should just create a new random hero 1 Tier.
But then I feel it too simple and boring. I wanted players to have a choice and a way to take risks.
So, I modified it into two options: a normal merge star or a gamble.
Then another question came up: can two same heroes with different star levels be merged?
If I blocked that action, players would be forced to squint just to find the tiny star icons on the heroes' heads. Why not let them merge toward infinite stars if they want to?. Imagine a hero with 10 stars shooting like a machine gun xD.
However, expanding the scope meant I had to figure out the gamble ratios when star levels vary. It took me a while to work through the logic, but I think I’ve nailed it. In the video, the ratios update correctly based on the risk the player accepts, so they don’t have to worry about the math. 😆

Wow, I hit 200 followers! That was way faster than I expected 🥳
The indie dev community on X is so supportive. Thank you all, and I hope your games find success too!
Another core feature of my game : ITEMS
This is an example of having a 3x Attack Speed item equipped.
Items will only random drop in battle. In the future, I may add a "Smith" profession so workers can craft them but
Player NEVER can get them by real money

I need help with some feedback—is this main menu screen alright?
It feels a bit too bright at the top to me, but I’ve been coding and staring at it for so long I can't tell anymore! 😭

Just added a new space for my worker, these cute guys deserve a bigger home.
Also, my game finally has sound! This video was recorded on my real phone

Last video, I couldn’t believe it got so many likes. Thank you everyone! Many people think my game is like PvZ, but I promise it will be more fun.
This is one example of what’s different. We can combine heroes’ attacks to create combos, which can be extended further by higher-tier heroes.
