NEW LAUNCH
ShareThePic $STP is now live on Orynth.

A new market is open for people who want to discover the product early and follow the journey from day one.

For those also falling behind their goals or a bit down due to not seeing results, I am trying to learn at least 1 relevant thing daily which will obsly compount over the year πͺ
Last week reflection:
- Built a Reddit Thread Hunting automation with AppScript to know where ShareThePic can be offered as a solution
- No new users last week, gotta work more on the outreach
Plan for this week? Build a Reddit Thread Hunting so I can help when people are in need and reach out to at least 10-30 groups/people where ShareThePic can help them πͺ
Key Takeaway/Hard Truth:
The main challenge isn't the marketing, it's finding the exact group that are facing the exact problem sharethepic(.app) solves (easy photo sharing for mixed device groups) and reach out to them with a solution
Channel #4: TikTok
Somewhat useful. A lot of visibility, but low conversions. I posted consistenly hook-demo videos which I saw worked for others, but I am not an expert nor a videographer and this took a lot of non-enjoyable time. Would only recommend for those natural at it
Channel #3: Build in Public
Very useful. I shared my learnings and experiences (no self-promo) in subreddits for founders/entrepreneurs as travel-related ones wouldn't allow me to post there. They were not my target audience, but I learnt a lot from others and got 10-15 users
Channel #2: Directory Listings
Not so useful at all. I listed in 20 directories. Obviously my target audience are not visiting those platforms, but I was hoping for some visibility and backlinks which I got. This step probably got me like 3-5 users
Channel #1: Word of mouth
Honestly this is what got me my first 10-20 users. I tried ShareThePic(.app) with friends, they signed up, and provided very valuable feedback to me. Now they are aware of its existence and may use it when they need it
Context: On April 2026, I launched sharethepic.app because I was tired of sharing photos over WhatsApp or a random drive with friends after a trip, especially as an Android user. Last May I focused on the marketing for it and tried different channels learning a few things
April was a very productive month, especially when counting deliverables and results. Last May however wasn't as productive but I still learn a few things I will post shortly...
6. Reached out to target users
Either by commenting in relevant Reddit posts, DM them, doing some outreach in relevant communities, among a few others actions. But still a lot can be done on events or face-to-face when I have the chance
