Work in progress
Today's project is a somewhat unusual commission: a flying ship concept.
Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I drew a vehicle (and no, mechs don't count - that's a different beast), so I had to spend a bit of time just remembering how to approach it š

I have no idea how long File Objects have been in Clip Studio Paint, but I only discovered them recently. Turns out they're incredibly useful.
Level 35 unlocked! š„³š„³š„³
But honestly, I still feel about 22 at heart, no more than that š
As always, the best birthday gift for an artist is a repost of their work! I'd really appreciate it if you'd share something you like.

I love it when a client is someone who has commissioned their character from lots of different artists over the years. There are always plenty of references to work from, while still leaving lots of room for creative freedom. š
Work in progress.
The mech has been sent to the client and is now waiting for feedback.
Meanwhile, happy summer everyone! Though I have to admit, I absolutely hate the heat... If it werenāt for air conditioning and an army of fans, Iād definitely be done for. š
Fresh work in progress. As a reminder, the client asked me to expand the cover into a full wrap.
While Iām waiting for feedback, I think Iāll have time to finish two simpler commissions.
Successfully approved.

Work in progress.
Alright, Iāve sent the cover to the author for review. Iāll also need to take another look at it myself in the morning with fresh eyes.
Clip Studio Paint shows that it took 15 hours of pure working time, but it definitely feels like a lot more.
Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you!
(I couldnāt find the original art file, itās probably on another hard drive, so I cropped it from my own Instagram š« )
Work in progress. Finally, Iām slowly getting closer to finishing this cover. Well⦠ācloserā ā I still need to finish the characters, the familiar, tweak the background a bit more, and do the post-processingā¦
The cover is now waiting for feedback, but I think it turned out pretty well, especially considering I switched brushes several times during the process š«
Moving right along. Currently waiting for feedback on the genasi girl.
As it turns out, this whole crowd of D&D characters is going to be used for a podcast, and Iāll need to create extra sprites for some simple "talking" animations.
With all this hustle, I haven't even shown you what I've been working on for Bardy lately!
(As a reminder, it's an app that listens to your D&D sessions and picks the perfect ambient music based on the context).
This is an illustration for the "Shop" theme!
