GM! I’m still searching for the right word to describe what I’ve built. If I had to simplify it: a fully on-chain, deterministic system where artworks are generated, owned, and evolved on the EVM. πŸ§΅β†“β†“β†“

Gm! β˜€οΈ Holding a RIC v1 gives you an allowlist spot to mint one free RIC v2 Root. If you own a v1 and are having trouble claiming your free v2 through Carve, make sure you’re using the whitelist claim panel, not the public mint. If it still doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll help you receive your allocation manually. Have a great day, fam! πŸ™ŒπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘€

For v3, memory matters. RIC v1 can pass: - token name - skin data RIC v2 can pass: - accessory - background color These inherited records make memory-layer v3 Roots some of the rarest and most connected tokens in the full v3 collection. 3/3 🧡

Earlier Roots are not lost. RIC v1 and RIC v2 will be able to pass memory forward into RIC v3. v1 carries origin memory: Token name Skin data. v2 carries generative memory: Accessory Background color. These memory records will enter v3 through the OpenSea mint phases. 1/3 🧡

How the current path works: RIC v1 Available now on OpenSea Manifold v1 Root gives access to 1 free RIC v2 mint RIC v2 Minting now on Carve Public mint: 0.01 ETH Both v1 and v2 holders will be part of the v3 memory layer. They will also be among the first collectors able to mint RIC v3 and enter the Studio, where Roots can change state on-chain. ric.artonchain.net 2/3 🧡

Gooooooooood morning! β˜€οΈ Something pretty amazing is happening in the @1337skulls server. Type !9m for a few days in a row and a free Skull shows up in your wallet ⛓️πŸ”₯ Fully automated, no forms, no claiming, no extra steps. I don’t think that’s very common πŸ‘€

Welcome @AE_METAEZY to the Rooted In Code memory layer. 🫑 Encrypted Echo RIC v1 #50 One of 20 Skinned Roots Earlier Roots will not be left behind. They carry provenance. They carry memory. And their data can pass forward into what comes next in v3. > v1 Root detected > Skinned memory active > Provenance carried > v3 lineage forming

RIC v3 state studies. Sometimes a Root starts to misbehave. Same body. Different scale. Different palette. Different pressure. The origin stays the same. The visible state does not. > Root loaded > Scale shifted > Palette unstable > Body pushing back

One Root, different variants. These are not separate tokens β€” the origin stays the same, while layer mask, scale and palette changes push the visible state in different directions.

Love seeing v1 Roots move again. RIC v1 is the origin layer of the project, and it will also play a role in what comes next. Earlier Roots are not lost. They are becoming memory before v3. > v1 Root detected > Origin layer active > v3 lineage forming

Gm! Big thank you to @Tschuuuuly for max minting 5 RIC v2 Roots this morning. πŸ™ It means a lot to see collectors step into this earlier layer before v3. These Roots are not just staying behind as old tokens. They are becoming memory carriers for what comes next. 🧬 > Collector detected > 5 Roots minted > Memory carrier active > v3 lineage forming

RIC v2 will become part of the v3 memory layer. 20 minted / 100 remaining [β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘] Public mint: 0.01 ETH RIC v1 and v2 holders will be the first collector group able to mint RIC v3 and enter the Studio before the public phase. If you’ve been looking to get one, now is the time. For those already in: Previous Roots are not lost β€” they are being awakened. > Root memory found > v2 carrier active > v3 path forming πŸ”— Mint on Carve: carve.app/mint/0x3d54c7acfc2…
Rooted In Code: Gen II is a continuation of the original collection β€” shifting from a curated body of work to a generative smart contract. The work explores how digital identity can form unintentionally β€” how repeated actions, transactions, and traces left on-chain might collectively shape a kind of visual fingerprint over time. Each portrait resolves at mint, overlaying many layered AI-generated facial fragments and hand-drawn elements into an abstract human presence that feels as if it surfaced directly from code. These are not literal portraits, but reflections shaped by process, structure, and time. All logic, structure, and visual data live fully on-chain, with no external dependencies and no mutable state after deployment.

RIC v2 explores the idea that digital identity can form from transactions, repeated actions, and the traces we leave on-chain. Before v3, the Roots already carried structure, memory, and the first signs of a larger system. v2 will not be left behind. It becomes part of what comes next. > Previous Root loaded > Memory carrier active > v3 lineage forming

Rooted In Code v1 β€” early body. Before RIC v3, there was the first Rooted In Code curated collection. A smaller, quieter system β€” but already carrying the idea of fully on-chain visual life. v3 will not erase that history. It will grow from it. _ Root memory found _ Origin layer loaded _ Previous roots detected _ v3 path forming ⇣⇣⇣

Gm! ✨ Burned two Modulo tokens to mint this fully on-chain Artifact β€” a dynamic, deterministic system where Artifacts are created by combining Modulo tokens into vessel containers. A fascinating concept that touches on networked art, backed by excellent execution from @unbearableKnife.

For anyone exploring the earlier Roots: v1 lives across OpenSea and Manifold. v2 carries the idea into a generative contract collection and is still minting as its own separate collection. These earlier Roots are part of the memory layer before v3. v1 on OpenSea: opensea.io/collection/rooted… v1 on Manifold: manifold.xyz/@masteronchain/… v2 mint: carve.app/mint/0x3d54c7acfc2…
