Garden Beds is a great vehicle for introducing spreadsheets to primary-aged kids…and a good window for teachers to see how robustly kids adapt to the different syntax for generalising. I like to use a bluetooth mouse/keyboard (two different kids), and use a laser pointer. x.com/AusTeacherRiss/status/…

I have used Garden Beds many times to teach algebra, but for the first time I had some students put their plants in the middle in two lines of 2, instead of one straight line... is the pattern the same? @maths300 #maths300 #problemsolving
