The Denver Pioneers, the only thing in 2026 thus far to slow down the Big Ten title parade.

And go back three weeks to the Big Ten title game where Purdue had 21 assists on 30 baskets, while committing just two turnovers against this Michigan defense. Not that Michigan needed a wake-up call, but that game certainly comes close to that.
In the Final Four Michigan forced 25 turnovers and saw Arizona & UConn combine for 14 assists. 65% of UConn baskets this season came via an assist, tonight that was 43%. Size matters - but the versatility AND willingness to defend is not a unicorn feature in the portal.

Michigan held Arizona & UConn to a combined effective field-goal percentage of 39.2%. That is the 4th lowest eFG% total allowed by a champion since the NCAAT expanded to 64 teams. Opponent F4 seeds of the lower instances: -UConn '11: 4, 8 -UConn '23: 5, 5 -Kentucky '12: 4, 2

The Jaquez family is everything that is right about college sports. Jaime and Gabriela have shown for eight years what it looks like to play for the name on the front of the jersey for every single possession they have stepped foot on the floor.

Alright, the Bruin season has come to an end. Were there moments that I think everyone wishes could be replayed? Yes. (Looking at you IU ending…) Were there positives? Yes, they got better. They did care. The Nebraska and MSU wins showed that.

It would be nice if Pauley were full in the first home game next season. An extra Skyy season would be a fun offseason bonus. Thank you to those on here that share the same passion with actual reason and thought unlike certain message boards. See everyone in Vegas to start ‘27.

Houston is the 4th team since 1985 expansion to win by 30 points in the Round of 64 and Round of 32, joining 2008 UNC, 1999 Duke, and 1998 Arizona. The Cougars have now posted 30 wins in each of the last 5 seasons, tied for the longest streak in Division I history.

In a different era, the Oregon State Beavers have a pretty good team this season with an upperclass roster that includes Jordan Pope, Tyler Bilodeau, Michael Rataj, Christian Wright, and Justin Rochelin,
"There are not a lot of guards that are playing bettet than [Jordan Pope]." Sean Miller told @JaredSGreenberg he couldn't be more pleased with the way his guards are playing.

Watching Jojo Tugler play basketball is just flat out fun. Same thing with Bona during his time, it's just boundless energy every possession of every game. The only thing that slows them down is foul trouble.

Does Kenny Nwuba have any eligibility left? Need his five fouls against Tarris Reed.

Purdue’s Braden Smith and Trey Kaufman-Renn are the first pair of teammates to each score 25 points on at least 65% shooting in an NCAA Tournament game since 1999. The Boilermakers scored 1.54 points per possession, the 5th-highest in an NCAA Tournament game the last 18 years.
