Cambodia Expedition FAQ's ❓ Do I need to be super fit? You just need to be able to comfortably carry a 25kg pack (it feels much lighter on your back than just picking up 25kg!). There are regular breaks during the day and men, women, young and old have all been able to complete it. The key is spirit and determination. You will receive a training program, tutorials and as much advice as you need. ❓ Is it safe? Absolutely. This is the fourth trip. We have experienced guides, local experts, and a supportive group. We have comprehensive discussions, reviews and recce's are done. As my Colour Sergeant at Sandhurst used to say, "complacency is the enemy, you have to fight it to the bitter end!" ❓ Who is this for? 🚁The Jungle Expedition phase begins with a helicopter insertion. In 2001 I did my first entry into the Jungle on the Jungle Warfare Instructors course. Flying low over the canopy in a helicopter was one of the more awe inspiring experiences in my Army Career. I think that the insertion into the remote and untouched Cardamom Mountains will be one of the most unforgettable moments of the Cambodia Jungle Expedition too. We will fly to the top of the mountain and then begin our journey. From the moment your boots touch the jungle floor, you’ll begin a journey through one of Southeast Asia’s last pristine rainforests.
