Today I am 28 I have, fortunately and unfortunately, been involved with crypto my entire adult life which is pretty funny to think about As such, I feel more qualified than ever to post some unc wisdom: Eventually there will be something akin to Memecoins and NFTs but completely NEW and fresh Not sure when, probably soon (there is a bit of a vacuum right now) I don't think much matters until then You just have to stick around and pay attention And when that new thing comes, whatever it is, be prepared to get engaged, and capitalize!

Redpill: The emergence and availability of AI for young people will not necessarily create a new generation of polymaths and renaissance men Lazy Westerners with short attention spans will use it to cheat in school, missing out not only on the crucial neural connections that curious youth of the past made throughout their knowledge enrichment process, but also the confidence that they can take on a challenging problem on their own This will further propogate the "Intelligence Gap" in terms of Critical Thinking skills for the majority of the population

Posting this because it may help you: Months ago I was dealing within persistent and often excruciating jaw pain (TMJ). It became so bad I mentioned it at the dentist and he suggested a custom biteguard to wear during sleep. Bought it and tried it-- extremely uncomfortable and did not help, made things worse if anything. Pain did not go away and started negatively affecting my quality of life and mood. While seeking any form of relief I stumbled across a reddit thread where a user suggested changing around pillows of all things. I am a busy guy so suboptimal things often go unnoticed, but it turns out I had slowly adopted extremely poor sleeping posture (something I had never even thought about). So I switched from jacking up my neck and head with two pillows, to using one high quality slim but supportive pillow I purchased from Amazon [not an ad]. A seemingly innocuous but impactful change The previously extreme pain I was in every morning rapidly went away and has never came back. I similarly noticed my whole body became less stiff: muscles in my upper back, neck, shoulders, face much more relaxed. TLDR: If you have poor sleeping posture, it can cause massive interconnected effects by putting pressure on certain muscles which in turn tense up other ones, which can even manifest in TMJ (Tempomandibular Joint jaw pain). If this describes you, it is worth experimenting with and optimizing your head/neck angle while sleeping as the relief can be shocking

I often think about how humans seem obsessed with rank: seeing how we stack up against others. We want to be at the top of any numerical leaderboard, real or proverbial

The nasty part is the ever moving goalpost, our tendency to prioritize relative success over absolute success. It is often cited how, for a trivial example, most people choose to earn 50k if peers earn 25k, rather than earn 100k if peers earn 200k and so on

The Internet etc amplifies exposure to the highest ranking individuals in every aspect of life, and if you only look up at those above without ever feeling any satisfaction, you could slip into an unhealthy, obsessed eternal state of perceived deficit and scarcity.

In 2025 @Solana DEXs overtook all major exchanges but one, with $1.6T in volume The gap between off-chain and on-chain execution has inverted, with Kamino Swap regularly quoting at discount vs CEX The UI now displays CEX price comparison in real-time for transparent pricing ⤵️

I have zero tolerance for a "US-based, licensed, and regulated exchange" serving US customers with agents in India. Should be illegal. Coinbase had 433m net income in Q3
We have zero tolerance for bad behavior and will continue to work with law enforcement to bring bad actors to justice. Thanks to the Hyderabad Police in India, an ex-Coinbase customer service agent was just arrested. Another one down and more still to come.

One really interesting (and awesome) thing that few people know - PYUSD and USDG are bankruptcy remote. That means the reserves backing these coins are legally segregated and if Paxos (or Paypal) is in trouble, or go bankrupt, they cannot touch the reserves, and are kept for redemptions only.

masterclass from the @nytimes on how to create anti-crypto propaganda. each point in the graphic can be refuted ad nauseam, but lets start here: "banks share a portion of proceeds as interest; coin issuers keep all of the proceeds" for most of the last decade, banks paid near-zero on deposits while earning healthy spreads on loans and securities. the idea that banks generously "share" yield is a lie, depositors usually get a tiny fraction of the economic value generated from their funds. in crypto, the user can choose where yield lives. you can move that stablecoin into defi to capture yield directly instead of letting a bank capture it, and that yield is many multiples higher than what a bank will offer. "bank deposits are insured up to $250k; stablecoins aren’t insured" FDIC only covers up to 250k in the US. above that you are an unsecured creditor of a leveraged bank. in a lot of countries there is no credible insurance at all. for those people, a solid USD stablecoin backed by t-bills can actually be safer than the local bank. "banks lend out your deposit; coin issuers invest the money in financial markets" (as if those are different) banks invest your deposits too, they just call it mortgages and corporate loans and pretend that is low risk. most major fiat stablecoins sit mostly in cash and short term treasuries. same basic thing, usually with less credit and duration risk. "you are legally entitled to bank money and can withdraw at any time; you don’t have a legal right to redeem stablecoins" capital controls, bank holidays, random account freezes, all perfectly allowed while you "have rights" on paper. with stablecoins you get self custody, 24/7 global liquidity, and you do not have to ask a teller for permission. they compare a fantasy version of a US checking account to a cartoon villain version of stablecoins, and call it journalism.

Market sentiments can swing quickly (especially in meme coins). Eco systems don't change in a day. #BNB is strong.

Whenever someone starts posting a Log-transformed chart, take that as a signal that it is time to sell (the regular chart looks like shit)

this trend in ccm should be extrapolated to all memecoins being viral/generating lots of impressions does not imply viral in such a way which can be successfully commoditized certain things beget nicely to coins, others (most) don't. identify those that are thematic
22 Sep 2025
Being famous, viral etc. does not necessarily translate into being memetically relevant and thematic
