in 2009, Pokemon made three cards that you could not buy anywhere they were part of a set called Melee Pokemon Scramble most of the set came in a boxed product but three cards, Pachirisu, Croagunk and Eevee, were locked behind something else you had to beat a Wii game when you finished, the screen showed 20 lines of numbers you entered those numbers into a lottery run by the Pokemon Daisuki Club out of everyone in Japan who tried, only 100 people won the winners got a 3-card pack with those three cards inside you can tell them apart from the rest of the set by a second logo printed in the corner

this Shining Mewtwo is one of the best Pokemon cards ever made it's part of the Neo Destiny expansion and it could be part of your binder too if you open an Elite Pack on @TiltRips and win it Mewtwo's lore is already one of the most tragic in Pokemon expressed through attacks like Psyburst, this card captures the raw, chaotic power of a creature that was artificially created and never meant to exist but it exists and is there any reason this banger shouldn't be part of your collection?

this is Mega Charizard, then and now the card on the left is M Charizard EX from XY Evolutions, 2016 (PSA 10 GEM MINT) the right is Mega Charizard X EX from Phantasmal Flames, 2025 (PSA 9 MINT) and you can win both on @DecibelTrade now you simply trade on Decibel and learn tickets based on your trading volume the first $1k gets you a first ticket and each additional one requires $50k more in volume fun fact about these cards? between them, the entire Mega Evolution mechanic disappeared from the Pokemon TCG Mega Evolution debuted in 2014 with the XY video games the cards followed and for three years, Mega Pokemon were the chase format of the TCG then Sun and Moon launched in 2017, the mechanic was retired, and for the next 8 years Mega Evolution didn't exist in the card game at all in 2025, it came back and a brand new Mega Evolution era, kicked off by the same Pokemon it started with and the best part is that there are many more cards you can win on Decibel, and the rotation is changing every week with a new Pokemon gems

a factory worker stole thousands of rare Pokemon cards and tried to bulk sell them in a card shop this happened in 2021 with a Fusion Strike set, and TCW called it the largest return of stolen Pokemon cards on record also, Fusion Strike has some of the worst pull rates in modern Pokemon history some chase cards from the set were estimated to be up to four times harder to pull than equivalents in other expansion Pokemon company has never publicly explained why or whether the theft was connected
