I watched the full match of Italy vs Ireland from USA ‘94 on ITVX earlier.
One thing that stood out: Brian Moore’s commentary.
He was absolutely outstanding. The dynamics, tempo and texture of his delivery were a joy. Big Ron also complimented him perfectly.

'Reared fractionally'???!!!! Er, he was climbing into the adjacent stall. The 'race-readers' are as bad as the stewards and officials. The great old race-readers had to do it without any video evidence like they have today. Incompetence is now rife in the game.
