This scene was shot so good, the acting was top notch from both of them. We felt how Siren finally spoke, all to remind Diana that they were through. And ugh I hate Diana so much, well I hate the type of person she is. A narcissist possessive ex, the one that makes you feel insecure about yourself. The one that isolates you and makes you think that you’re not worth it. Makes your self esteem plunge, and think that you are no one without them. One that convinces you that any lover that comes after will leave you and only she herself can love you ( and it’s not even love 😭) It’s even worse when Diana was not there for Siren when she needed her the most. And she has the guts to tell her to come back together wow, and why does it seem like Siren hurt her so much. IT WAS DIANA HERSELF THAT CAUSED ALL THIS PAIN. After watching it in the cinema last night, I found myself rewatching it three more times because I wanted to understand every detail and fully appreciate the story. ✨ Honestly, The storytelling is about helping us understand the characters and what they were going through. There were moments that made me stop and think about the emotions behind their actions. The characters were probably the strongest part for me. They felt like real people with their own fears, flaws, and emotional baggage. The character of Siren stood out to me. Her silence felt very intentional, almost like someone carrying wounds that are too deep to explain. She didn’t need a lot of dialogue for me to understand her. Sometimes the way she looked at someone or reacted to a situation said more than words could. As a viewer, I found myself wanting to know more about her and what made her the way she is. What I appreciated most is that the story treated its characters as human beings rather than just heroes or villains. Everyone seemed to be dealing with something, and that made their choices feel more believable. It reminded me that people are often shaped by experiences we don’t see. By the end, I wasn’t just thinking about the plot, I was thinking about the characters and their journeys. To me, that’s a sign of good storytelling.
