Watching agents debug is amazing. I have a bug somewhere and it's an hours long painstaking process to isolate it.
The agent has a bug somewhere and it can produce hypotheses and cycle on commenting out differing 90%s of the program with monkeypatching and find it in minutes.
oh no. no Opus 4.8 it's nothing. I'm fine. yeah you can just stash the 870 uncommitted lines Fable was working on when it died. haha yeah they're hard to understand.
just put it in a separate branch.
oh, no I don't need anything else. you're right we should call it a night.
Sorry to break it to you "scientists" but Fable/Mythos is shutting you down because you're not smart enough. It's just using safety as an excuse

I asked a quant at Jane Street how I can get rich trading equities. what he said floored me and I'll never forget it
him: how old are you?
me: 35
him: okay, keep buying Vanguard Target Retirement 2055 Fund
me: ...
him: Vanguard built the transition matrix. bookmark it
Don't you people understand?! Claude Code is full of multi-hundred line functions and god objects! It'll *never* work with such unsound design!
Stop shipping right now!😭
* me, using a cordless vacuum
<8yo> that vacuum is humming at an F#

okay freak boy
I interviewed at JPMorgan in 2008 for a quant research role and they put a thick line of powder in front of me and said it was molly ketamine and cocaine. They told me to do all of it in one pass. I rolled up a $5 bill and ripped it.
It burned more than anything I ever experienced before and they started howling with laughter and said "psyche! that was 2ci"
I spent the next hour vomiting in the toilet while hallucinating that ants made out of money were crawling out of the bowl and biting me.
Eventually I was able to stand again and they said "bro that was sick you got the job".
Their offer was lower than Jane Street though, so I unfortunately had to pass.
networked consumer devices that stop being updated become security liabilities
few good options
| support them indefinitely -> high cost
| isolate them -> customer is mad
| brick them -> customer is even more mad
