You deprived yourself of knowing more about the interesting parts of the world and why things came to be. Generate an armor or costume? You deprived yourself on real world techniques, function, form and history. You generated art inspirations? You deprive yourself of learning about artists from history or even locked out living ones you could hire. Ethical issues of using GenAi models aside, one ends up making visuals mood boards devoid of reality, of story and you deprive yourself from learning about our world and who is living in it, inadvertently making your work lesser, because of how detached it is from our human reality and shared history.
