🚨 Arsène Wenger on the Lionel Messi red card controversy against Algeria at the 2026 FIFA World Cup: 🗣️ “I’ve watched the incident a few times now and, honestly, I think people are getting carried away. Was it a foul? Yes. Was there contact? Absolutely. But a red card? Come on. Not every challenge involving Lionel Messi has to become a worldwide controversy. For me, football has lost a bit of common sense when people start analysing one challenge frame by frame and ignoring everything else that happened in the match. We’re talking about a player who just scored a hat-trick, dominated the game and produced one of the performances of the tournament so far. Yet somehow the biggest discussion is a challenge that VAR looked at and decided wasn’t worthy of a red card. That’s football in 2026, I suppose. The referee saw it. VAR checked it. And they came to the same conclusion. That should tell you something. I understand why Algeria are frustrated. I understand why fans are debating it. But when I look at the incident, I don’t see excessive force. I don’t see aggression. I don’t see a player trying to hurt an opponent. I see a football action that happened at full speed. What surprises me is that some people seemed desperate for it to be a red card before they even saw the replay. If we’re being honest, if that challenge is made by an ordinary midfielder in the middle of the pitch, we’re probably not still talking about it hours later. The reality is simple. Messi didn’t avoid a red card. The officials didn’t believe it was one. And instead of spending all night discussing that challenge, maybe we should spend some time appreciating another incredible FIFA World Cup performance from one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.” {@SkyNews }

Credit where it’s due. This officer didn’t think about rank, recognition, or personal safety, he acted to save a life. Acts like these remind us that there are still dedicated and courageous members in SAPS who serve their communities with honour. Respect to the policeman for his bravery and quick action. 👏🏾🇿🇦

Wow , who would risk to marry this type of sister 🤯😳
This Uber driver allegedly asked one of the female passengers to move and sit in the front seat. When another passenger questioned the request, a heated exchange of words reportedly followed. 😭

VAR makes mistakes too this was a clear penalty....let alone the fact that it was stuns up from the jump
Gabriel, your day of reckoning is coming soon. You’re a cheating player. How on God’s name is that a foul? Antoine Griezmann won a penalty and it was ruled out because of this dive. FIFA are favouring Arsenal FC

Leo Prinsloo. Former Captain in the South African Police Service Special Task Force, which is the country’s equivalent of the SAS, involved in everything from counterterrorism to security details for two US presidents and the Queen of England. After leaving the service, he became a tactical training instructor and took on part time work as an armed security escort in Pretoria. On April 22, 2021, on the N4 highway in Pretoria, his cash in transit vehicle was ambushed by a heavily armed gang who opened fire and began a high speed chase. Prinsloo immediately took evasive action, weaving through traffic, ramming one of the attack vehicles, absorbing multiple rounds through the bulletproof glass, and driving himself and his partner out of the kill zone. When the vehicle eventually stopped, he grabbed his rifle, exited the truck, and set up an ambush of his own. The robbers saw him kneeling down to take aim and fled without taking a single rand (dollar). His partner Lloyd Mtombeni was on only his fourth day on the job. The dashcam footage went viral worldwide, and tens of millions of people watched it. Prinsloo downplayed his actions and said the real heroes are the cash in transit workers who face these risks every day.

The constitution needs to be updated , we need a law that will constitute this type of behaviour as a crime on the real
If divorce didn’t involve splitting money and property, more women including Toni Braxton, who filed for divorce from Birdman just 14 days after getting married (after dating him for nearly 17 years) would fight to make their marriage work. “Birdman told me he was with Toni Braxton for 17years. He didn’t even wanna get married but she convinced him to get married with no Prenup. Birdman wanted a Prenup but she told him there should be 100% trust between couples. Blinded by love, Birdman got married to her and she filed for a divorce in just 14 days and walked away with over $80-million. When Birdman and I discussed this story in my house I could see how sad and angry he was. W0men who claim to be strong and independent are litteraly using divorce or men to make money. If after seeing all this, you still let another wôman deceîve to getting married with no Prenup then you should be the GOAT Of Sîmps. A W0man patiently wait for 50-years to gain your trust and bring you down. Immediately you trust a woman, you’re a Finished Sîmp.” —FAT JOE

#SportsNightAmplified 🎙️ Should Mama Joy be taken to the World Cup after reports that it could cost as much as R700,000 to send her? She’s become a symbol of South African football passion — but should public or sponsor money be used for this? Or should those funds be invested in developing local football instead? Is Mama Joy a national treasure worth supporting… or is this taking it too far? Let’s talk about it.

🚨🗣️ Luis Enrique on Kylian Mbappé: “People always ask me about Kylian Mbappé, and I’ll be honest, talent has never been the question. He’s one of the most gifted players I’ve seen. But football is not just about talent, it’s about mentality, respect, and understanding what a team really is. People confuse talent with authority. Yes, he’s talented, nobody denies that. But football punishes arrogance. If you don’t respect your teammates, if you don’t fight with them, eventually it shows on the pitch. What I experienced with him wasn’t leadership, it was control. There’s a very thin line between being the main player and trying to become the system itself. And when one player starts dictating everything, how the team plays, how others move, even the atmosphere in the dressing room, that’s not leadership anymore. That’s close to a dictatorship. At some point, you have to ask: does he make teams better, or does he just make himself bigger? Because for me, a real leader sacrifices — he doesn’t demand. And until that changes, no matter how many goals he scores, there will always be a limit to what his teams can achieve.”
