30 years ago, the BBC brought out an adaptation of M.C. Beaton's much-loved Hamish Macbeth to TV screens, and here is an early promo flyer of the series.
Starring a young Robert Carlisle as Hamish, the series did well with audiences but was not a hit with the author.
