Yesterday at the @mcimediahub, Switch Africa hosted the Makerere Guild Presidential Debate, bringing together students, leaders, and voices that matter. Moderated by our switchers, Mwesigwa Joshua and Divine Mercy Nalwanga, the conversation was guided with purpose and clarity as candidates took to the podium, pointing out issues they wish to address if given authority to lead the gallantry. These ranged from understaffing in some colleges, rising tuition fees and the ongoing accommodation challenges. Each discussion reflected the realities students face, and the solutions they hope to see. An evening of bold ideas, critical discussions, and meaningful dialogue.
