It was a real pleasure to have the @LCEF team in South Wales, visiting
sustainability projects like our Radyr Hydro scheme ⚡🌊
It's a 400kW small-scale hydro station in #Cardiff, using the 3.5m drop at Radyr Weir to generate clean, renewable energy. 1/2
We were struck by the ambition of local leaders and industry working together to increase local resilience and deliver clean, homegrown energy for their communities - especially important as the need to wean ourselves off volatile fossil fuel markets becomes more acute.
