A sweet victory for Honey Perfume at Newcastle on Saturday with apprentice Claire Ramsbotham in the saddle. Short and sharp is her wheelhouse and she made light work of them over the 900m to bring up her second win of the prep. Congratulations to her great group of owners and connections.

Aethelwulf demolished his rivals by five lengths yesterday at Newcastle to break his maiden. He was the ultimate professional as he cruised past them in the straight and looks like a lovely horse in the making. Congratulations to his owners and well done Keagan Latham on a great ride.

A double for the stable today at Hawkesbury with Cosmic Order and Hammoon Heroine both saluting in style. Thanks to Ash Morgan and Reece Jones for the great rides and congratulations to all of our connections.

Cool Lad found the winners circle again on the weekend. The old boy is a marvel and he brings the stable a lot of joy. At seven years of age, he’s had 53 starts for six wins and 14 placings. He tries his heart out every time and rarely runs a bad race. It’s great to see him still enjoying his job and in such good form.

Portland is on the board in Australia with a tough win in the Listed Lord Mayor’s Cup at Rosehill. He’s had a super prep and it’s great to see him get the job done today under a great ride from Winona Costin. Congratulations to all his connections.

Our Better Than Ready x Mausoleum filly got a big tick from Luke Geddes at Weipa Lodge. Out of a Zoustar mare, from the family of Alligator Blood, her sire produced last weekend’s Group 3 Hawkesbury Crown winner, Chidiac – also the winner of this year’s $1 million Country Championships Final. Golden Straand made it two from two this prep with an impressive win over 1100m at Hawkesbury today. This lad is working through his grades nicely and we’re excited to see him continue to progress. Congratulation to Gerry Harvey and connections.

We loved every minute of watching you compete and we are in awe of your talent and composure! Congratulations to Liv Shore who also rode beautifully to finish 3rd in the CCI3*. We are so fortunate to have you both as part of the team at Luskin Park. A special shout out to Charlie Richardson and his horse Remington Hill who finished 6th in the CCI4*. Weekend Winners... Irish import Unavoidable (Gleneagles x Shannow) recorded his first win on Australian soil with an impressive victory over 2000m Canberra on Friday. A great ride from Alysha Collett saw the 5YO gelding settle at the back of the field before working into the race as they turned for home and drawing away to win easily. Lightly raced mare Hammoon Heroine (Zoustar x Savanne Sauvage) broke her maiden at Kembla Grange on Saturday over 1500m. Rated perfectly in front by Jean Van Overmeire, she was full of running in the straight, skipping away from the field to win by two lengths. A big congratulations to both horses' owners and connections.
