1) 🇰🇷 There's another preprint by a single author (Junhyun Lee) analysing the DecodeME genetic dataset.
It found substantial genetic correlations with Irritable bowel syndrome and depression, and a link with inhibitory neurons from the Descartes Human single-cell atlas.

7) Many of the findings of this paper are preliminary and not really groundbreaking, but I think it's useful to have more analyses of DecodeME and comparisons with other datasets so that we can reach a better understanding of what it means.

1) 🇧🇪 Researchers from Leuven and Hasselt university published a protocol for an extensive ME/CFS study.
It includes cytokine measurements, MRI and PET scans, gut microbiome analysis, and salivary cortisol following a stress test.

9) The study was funded by the Flemish Foundation for Scientific Research (FWO). Data collection already started in February 2023 and is expected to finish in December 2026 (pretty short timeline for such a complex study).
