The recording and listing of where datasets have been drawn from - a bit like showing a list of ingredients in food items - might become part of the regulation around use of datasets.

Dataset biases are a problem, and beyond that the datasets and algorithms are created by people working in Silicon Valley who will bring their own biases and perceptions. So that needs looking at too.

Generation of AI images: risks include that it inherits biases and could further entrench lack of representation. For example if you ask AI to generate an image of an orchestra it gives you an image of exclusively white musicians and no disability.

Much of the IP legislation and contractual language was created before AI existed so it needs revision to protect artists from their IP being used in ways that was never their intention.
