🤔 Feels like YouTube knows I’ve been helping test @meetmodo, how convenient that this video showed up in my feed today! (Please give it a watch; the animation is so cute!!! ✨) youtu.be/iNyUmbmQQZg

This is a problem we relate to and are working on a solution for 🤞 It's a very complex and pervasive one for sure!

Stressed, worried, or anxious? Write it down! Journaling is a powerful way to offload and process your thoughts. It has also been shown to reduce stress and help with remembering important information. For more tips on dealing with overwhelm: meetmodo.com/post/what-is-th…

One word to deal with all #ADHD executive function challenges: EXTERNALIZE Externalize working memory with planners and notes. Externalize time with timers and watches. Externalize problem-solving with a whiteboard, or pen and paper. #neurodivergent

It is far past time for stigma about ADHD stimulants to subside. They are: ✨not addictive when taken as prescribed ✨highly effective for most w/ADHD w/minimal side effects ✨out of our system quickly ✨stimulants. Like…caffeine. They don’t get us high, they help us work.

Sunday blues can hit hard when the evening sets in & you realize it's back to work next day. To counter this we make sure to have a plan for Monday morning so we've got momentum. Bonus for writing the plan in our modo. The plan mostly involves good tea & food. That's the secret.

As days grow shorter and nights grow colder, we've noticed the decrease in warmth & sunlight affecting our mood. One reason we go for small cheerful touches like the placeholder email in our early access signup form: to remind us there are brighter days ahead 😉 #contentdesign

"...And that's why you need modo!" Text of image: LOOK SHE'S... she's afraid of losing ideas so she screenshots and bookmarks everything but now those archives feel overwhelming so she never looks at them

Interesting results on social: - a TikTok video we made following SEO guidelines flopped. Effort: ~2h - a random idea for a Facebook ad we put together got several leads within 24h. Effort: 10m Social platforms are wild 😅 advice is great but nothing beats experimenting.

Too many to-dos & stimuli, mental exhaustion, & not having the coping mechanisms to deal... can lead to #overwhelm. Sound familiar? You're not alone. Rick's right here with you. Good news: you can do something about it. Peep @SoukaynaBekkali 's tips: meetmodo.com/post/what-is-th…

Getting ready for Monday and tbh we're feeling like this cat over here. ... That being said we've got some prototypes to design and testers to onboard starting tomorrow, so there's exciting stuff to look forward to!

"In case of doubt post pet pics" is rule #1 of the internet, right? @SoukaynaBekkali just sent us a snap of our Chief Curiosity Officer. Today we worked on our #usertesting program, deployed a feature to staging, & set up ad experiments. But this was the highlight of the day 🥰

When we say "we know the problem we're working to solve", this is what we mean. Well. Maybe without the technicolor sparkles. But our team deals w overwhelm, distraction, executive dysfunction on a daily basis. We get it. That's why we're building this app.

So thankful for this conversation I had with Trina on her "My Lady ADHD" podcast. We share some super embarrassing ADHD stories...which I think are pretty hilarious, but at the same time make me feel so validated!!! We also talk about: 🦙 how Llama Life got started 🧠 what it's like to have ADHD ⏰ coping strategies and tips on productivity and time management Also, Trina's other podcast episodes are SO good. Would highly recommend checking them all out! Links below 👇

There's nothing like my dog Phil to ground me. I find it very difficult indeed to concentrate on all of life's worries while also watching him sit in a puddle with his tongue out and a smile on his face.

May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth - and while we believe we should be maintaining our mental health all the time, it helps to have this external reminder. It's a good time to (re-)examine: what are we doing to take care of our mental health as part of our daily routine?

And then there are the more personal ways people practice self-care for #mentalhealth. Like indoor gardening or art as expressions of nurturing creativity. Like reading to increase knowledge or simply the pure pleasure of it. Like making space for moments of joy and delight.

For instance (speaking of joy and delight), here is a photo of a very happy cat. Look at that fluffy tummy! (We apologise if you're not a cat person. Feel free to request other types of cute happy-making pics and we will try to action it ASAP 😉)
