While it may not be the main theme, Obsession does, in fact, make points about mental health. Curry Barker himself said that Nikki was not possessed. She became a version of herself who could not live w/o Bear. So when Nikki is fighting for control, she is fighting with herself.

Did anyone else notice the alarm clock in Obsession? I didn’t get it at first, but after seeing it again I have a theory. When Nikki goes to Bear’s house it reads 12:08. When she jumps off him after they kiss it appears to read 06:55 as if to be short for… “Obsess”
