It’s been a dream of mine to see auroras in real life. Went to Alaska last year and didn’t see them. Saw kp of 7.3 and drove to Lake Ontario for the most beautiful display!!! I think I shed a few tears tonight. 🥹

A "storm for the ages" has begun in Buffalo. Currently there: 23 w/ heavy snow, near zero visibility, winds gusting to 66 mph. Wind chill 2. Two to three feet of snow forecast there.

935p: Orchard Park, New York — which is just south of Buffalo — reported 66” of snow… and it’s still coming down hard. It’s probable its storm total will exceed 6 FEET.
