Not the man who had married 3 wives without their knowledge, had multiple affairs, abused the wives and kids and roped his brother into his scandals?
I know most will not agree, but Joyce is the real supervillian in this madness. Tried to shoot him, poisoned him, and finally sent him AIDS, manipulated the will using the kids.

I’ll just leave this here. 🤭 I’ll be humble again from Monday 🤞🏾☺️
#ThePolygamist #ThePolygamistNetflix The writing on this show is brilliant! Every detail matters, and every scene connects to something bigger, leading to even more shocking plot twists. 🤭 There’s one particular scene that seems to hint at another storyline that is yet to be explored.

Started reading the Polygamist after watching all episodes on Netflix. I must say, I wasn't familiar with Sue's game. I'm afraid I'm going to read all her books... @SueNyathi , you are incredibly talented, your ability to bring characters to life is remarkable... here are your flowers💐 💐 #ThePolygamist

The Polygamist on Netflix is not a show about a man with many women. It’s a show about what happens to women when they organise their entire lives around one undeserving man.

Magesh yena is the show’s quiet thesis statement. A man who watched everything, enabled most of it and only chose otherwise when the harm became impossible to ignore. He is every man who considers himself “one of the good ones” while covering for the bad one.

#ThePolygamist has me wondering… where do we draw the line as friends? Is it support when you watch your friend build a life around a married man, have his children (TWINS!!!!), and say nothing? Or is that enabling? Do we speak up, set boundaries, or stay silent because we’re scared of losing the friendship?

The Gold Diggers is my number 1 from her collection.
I had no idea that she wrote The Polygamist. I read The Gold Diggers and thought that she’s a brilliant writer and author. She has outdone herself. @SueNyathi well done mama

Jonasi walked in on Joyce pointing a gun at him and he couldn’t possibly imagine a reality where Joyce could try to kill him because he knew she loved him more than she loved herself, so he went with the idea that she was trying to commit suicide. What a sick man. 😭

This series is stressing me out 😂🙌🏾 But since it’s based on our sister’s book, mdangoti rega ndione…manje ndakunzwa bp yangu kukwira😭😂 There is a lot to learn for everyone though, Not just about Zim men, but also ma baddies who have absolutely nothing to lose😂
Finding out The Polygamist is an adaptation of a novel by Sue Nyathi, a Zimbabwean woman from Bulawayo… yeah, that accuracy makes sense now. Jonasi was giving ‘Zim men!’😂🙌🏾

I’m so happy for Sue Nyathi. The Polygamist is my favourite book of hers. Now to read the rest of her books and pray that they’re all made into movies/series. 💜
