@BrevilleCanada We’ve got a Breville Barista Express BES870XL that’s still leaking from the group head even after replacing the silicone gasket.

We’ve just learned this may be due to a known manufacturing defect from machines sold between 2019–2022, where the grouphead collar screws were not secured with threadlocker. This causes them to loosen over time, leading to leaks — exactly what we’re seeing.

Given this is a known flaw, can you confirm Breville will cover the repair or offer a replacement, even if we’re just outside the warranty? We’d really appreciate your help.

My daughter signed up for the @lovejoy presale for Seattle. Never got a code. Had to login for regular sale today. Tickets gone in 5 mins. Now all being resold for $300 . This is a band that is primarily loved by young folks who could never afford this. @Neumos wtf??

Wow. Terrifying. Happy nobody was hurt and @VancouverPD responded quickly.
This morning, several people, including staff and a social worker, called 9-1-1 from BC Women’s Hospital. They reported that a woman was armed with a knife, was screaming and threatening staff, and was trying to break in to a locked nursery.
Hey @CityofVancouver collection truck ran into and damaged our basketball net today! How can we get it fixed/replaced?

Vancouver has completely failed when it comes to providing enough schools in the core of the city, and every year it causes stress for parents with a child entering Kindergarten cbc.ca/news/canada/british-c…

Two guys come in to an ER. One has COVID. He’s sicker than he thought this would make him. Crashes pretty quickly. Docs and nurses do everything to help him. He needs ICU. Wasn’t vaccinated. Not a hard core anti vaxer. Just didn’t think he’d really need it, COVID not so bad.

I know there are a lot of people who recently got the AstraZeneca vaccine who feel ... snubbed ... after last week's communications. This thread is for you. I hope it re-affirms your smart decision to get protected from COVID asap & empowers you to know the signs of VITT.

Mr. Rogers says to look for the helpers. Every one of you who rushed out to get the #AstraZenaca vaccine today when it opened to 40 is a helper, and I see you and love you.

A vaccine with minuscule, don’t even worry about it risk? Puh-leeze. This is GenX. We ate Pop Tarts for breakfast and got babysat after school by Y&R. We spent decades on oral birth control. And now we’re crashing all the pharmacy websites for that sweet, sweet AZ.

I'm very much looking forward to the communications PhD work that will come out of studying how people sent and received pandemic messages. Not the least of which will be inability to convey to people the difference between registering to be on a list and booking an appointment

But if young people are blowing it "for the rest of us", as the premier declared less than a week ago, it is incumbent on the government to do as much as possible to change their minds about the seriousness of this. Because finger pointing is not actually a medical strategy.
