When they moved in, @schkolnick__ reached out: “Let’s bring blessings into the new office and host a mitzvah dinner for young Jewish men and women in tech.” Then came the wild part. He picked June 17th. I checked the calendar and realized it’s Gimmel Tammuzl one of the most holy days on the Chabad calendar. Out of all the nights of the year, that was the one chosen. I called @Mottel. He said, “I’m in.” Now Jewish men and women across tech, startups, venture capital, and finance are coming together in SoHo for a night of Jewish pride, inspiration, entrepreneurship, and mitzvahs. A new office isn't a right. It's a privilege, and one we must earn every day. Today is our first day in @Meow's new HQ in the heart of Soho. The internet isn't even up yet, so I'm typing this tethered to my phone. I'm proud of the early Meow team that graduated from dark rooms to a space of our own. We could have done this years ago but we waited until we crossed 8 figures in net revenue and until we knew our growth engine actually repeats. The entire team, since day 1, has never complained and has been on board with this ethos. Above all, we're grateful for our customers. None of this is possible without the customer. And we must earn the right to serve our customers every single day.
