US visa fees are absolutely crippling as it is. On top of normal fees, they require an agent or U.S. lawyer to be processed properly. And with the ongoing massive backlog in processing, outrageous "premium processing" fees have become the norm. 1/2

With this proposed increase, bands would be looking at $6-10k just for visas. For the type of bands I've toured the United States with, that takes us over the edge and makes such tours impossible. If you've toured the States, fill this survey!

First touring season since COVID. UK last month, now North America. After a break, some of the downright crazy things we simply accept as the law of nature seem even more mind-boggling. “20% merch commission, artist sells” - F*** you, how about 20% beer commission, venue sells?!
