On 11 June the United Nations celebrated the International Day of Play, recognising the vital role play has in every happy childhood; schools were encouraged to enjoy an extra 31 mins of play!
We fully embraced the challenge by extending playtime!

Yesterday, we had a great morning meeting Tim Jeffries and Pudsey! Tim explained all about their journey visiting 35 ports. The aim is to raise £70,000 for Children in Need. We were also joined by MLA and past pupil of the College, Kate Nicholl.

Every Wednesday our Prep 7 pupils team up with Prep 1 children for special reading sessions at school. The older pupils help their younger partners read stories, build confidence, and enjoy books.

Prep 6 had a immersive day in Methody. They began in the Technology department, where they were put to the test to design and build bridges. Then continued at Pirrie for a games session before finishing in the Food and Nutrition department.
