After a very wet start to summer another area of low pressure moves into the southwest on Saturday, bringing a spell of strong winds and gale force gusts to many parts of the southwest and south coast.

The strongest winds are likely around exposed coasts and high ground, with peak gusts of 50-60 mph in a few places and locally higher in the vicinity of Dartmoor
