What does support look like in our middle schools? At Meadow Glen Middle, it looks like Structured Learning Time (SLT) and Advocacy Time. 🌟
MGMS hosted a site visit for leaders from Lex/Richland 5 to showcase their Structured Learning Time (SLT). They spent the morning observing how these programs give our students the help sessions, retakes, and enrichment they need to excel.
The highlight of the day? Hearing our students and teachers speak with such confidence about the structures and how they help students be successful.
Thank you to Principal Lim and the MGMS staff for modeling best practices in Lexington District One!
ALT A classroom at Meadow Glen Middle School where a "Student Panel & Q/A" is in progress. A male staff member stands at the front next to a large TV screen displaying the panel title. Five students are seated in a row at the front of the room, facing an audience of adults seated at hexagonal tables. The room is bright, featuring school posters, an American flag, and large windows looking into the hallway.
