If you’ve used our Just Walk Out technology at an airport, grocery/convenience store, stadium, or university campus, you know how great it is to skip the lines and simply walk out without waiting around to pay.
Now, we’re bringing this technology to hospitals with a new innovation called “badge pay” that lets doctors, nurses, and other health care workers quickly grab food and drinks at all hours by just scanning their employee badge. Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, will be the first U.S. hospital with a Just Walk Out technology store and badge pay capability.
Should be a big help to hospital staff, who don't carry their wallets and phones while on the job and are often working overnight when most hospital cafeterias and stores are closed. aboutamazon.com/news/retail/…
