In a space where everyone’s loud, writing is how you get heard. When most people enter Web3, they chase the flashy skills. Trading? That’s where the fast money is. Coding? That’s where the builders are. But the one skill no one talks about enough?

Do you test the strength of a bridge with its heaviest load first? Obviously no. But that’s exactly how most people approach crypto in Nigeria. There's this saying that goes, “If you’re broke in Nigeria, crypto will either save you or ruin you.” There’s rarely an in-between. What do I mean? For many, cryptocurrency is the first real shot at financial leverage. No gatekeepers or even degrees required, Just a phone, internet, and the willingness to learn. Crazy right? You see people do 1078% when they short or long 😂 They flip small capital into something meaningful, earn in dollars, and escape the pressure of a struggling economy. That’s the “save you” side that everyone loves or hears about. But here’s the part nobody tells you early enough. The same space that gives opportunity also amplifies desperation. You need to understand this! When you’re broke, you’re more likely to chase quick wins, ape into hype, trust the wrong influencers, and ignore risk. One bad trade, one scam, one emotional decision, and you’re back to zero or even worse. Here's why: Crypto rewards discipline, patience, and skill. But being broke often comes with urgency, and urgency makes you reckless. So instead of asking if crypto works, Ask yourself whether you’re approaching it with the mindset of building or the mindset of escaping. Because if you treat crypto like a shortcut, it will ruin you. But if you treat it like a skill, it just might save you. Choose carefully.

How long are we gonna be stuck in this cycle??? For 3 months, I took a break from X for no particular reason. Well actually, I went off to look for web2 money, which I still didn't see💔 And honestly, I expected everything here to feel different when I came back. I came back expecting new narratives and even new systems. Or is web3 no longer an evolving space?? But then again I began to understand that maybe, Web3 moves fast on the surface, but slowly at its core. Attention is still the most valuable currency in this space Many are still chasing quick wins and projects are still fighting for relevance. Once you take out the trends, and you’ll see it, Nothing really changed. I just did. And stepping away gave me the clarity I needed. I started to see what actually matters and not what just feels urgent. Cos when you're deep in it every day, everything looks important. When you step back, you realize most of it isn’t. But does this mean I'm leaving web3? NO, I can never do such a thing. Instead, I’m coming back differently. I'm coming with less noise and more intention. I'll be thinking and building more now. Because I know the real edge we have in this space is not being everywhere. It’s knowing exactly where to stand.

Missed Blockfest? Don't miss this! Unlike you, I'll be at Ebonyi State for the @TechNovasummit. If you'd love to connect with me, then let's all meet there on the 14th of March, 2026. I don't need to tell y'all what to expect.

I did not plan to talk about this today. But something happened recently that I cannot shake off, and I think it needs to be said. Let’s talk about something we rarely admit out loud. A mindset we have normalized for years. One that is quietly slowing us down. In Nigeria, the consumer mindset has become the default. Always asking what we will get, what the reward is, whether we qualify. Giveaways, airdrops, freebies, endless farming, and it goes deeper than that. Even in tech, many people are not here for the craft. Only for the pay. But while we all chase the same five percent of visible opportunities, the remaining ninety percent sits wide open. Full of real problems waiting to be solved. Full of information that is valuable, yet untouched. We scroll past it because we are fixated on jobs, clout, and social presence. I felt this shift clearly during Blockfest. I could not attend physically for a few reasons. But while watching remotely, I noticed something different. I saw people who were not just participating, but actually building. People thinking deeply. People asking how they could make the space easier for others. That moment stuck with me. And it brings me to you. To every Nigerian building something, no matter how small. You are special and you need to keep going. It will not always be easy, but it will be worth it. But why am I saying all this? Because we need a real shift. This space is bigger than what most of us are focused on, and it is time we start exploring it. Before anyone comes for me, I will say it myself. I am guilty too. But we can do better. I will start first.

They lied to you! You do not need a 20 page content strategy. You just need to see this post🔻 You can ignore, if you wanna fail.

Three solid posts weekly > seven random ones. That is it. You don't need those fancy dashboards or complex frameworks.

All you need is clarity, repetition and ruthless execution. Content strategy is not about doing more but about removing friction. So again I ask, are you a content strategist?
