I don’t really care about the discourse about whether only watching play throughs makes you a fan or not.
The more interesting conversation I think is that it illustrates how games still aren’t taken seriously as an art form.

In no other art form is this a debate, if you engage with movies only by reading the script, bypassing all the visual and audio elements movies provide, you’re not a fan of the movie.

There’s a specific shot where the female lead snaps into a sort of backwards walk that hits you right in the uncanny valley. Thinking about it literally gives me chills, horrific.

Hmmm, with all due respect I don't remember seeing you on set. When I was there, Kane was 100% in control. More so than many directors 3x his age.
