Never done an official ribbon cutting before! It’s genuinely lovely to see this shop open after years of struggle, and I can happily report it’s is very well stocked and there’s some real bargains. Also delighted to have a supply of Tunnocks tea cakes in walking distance.

Celebrating the new Woolage Village 30mph limit - previously it was 60mph in the village.
I started campaigning for this 10 years ago, so made it a priority when I was elected to KCC two years ago and it’s been great to get support from the parish council and police.

No grumpy pothole face from me today as Woolage Village gets its long awaited 30mph limit after 10 years campaigning.
I’ll be in the village 2pm Saturday with the police and stickers, leaflets, balloons and the odd celebratory drink!

It may look like we are on holiday, but I was holding a super @Cantlibdem Councillor Surgery at The Ivy Barn in Littlebourne this morning with Cllr Lee Castle.
Great to talk to so many residents on many issues including planning, bins and trees.
