First time since 2021 I don't have a Web3 PFP. That's weird to type. @HAPEsocial was my first love. First real shot at the mainstream. First time anyone outside my little circle started to know who Mikey G actually was. I built an identity around that PFF. My life changed because of that server. A whole version of me lived there. Then I had a kid. I stepped away for a minute because nothing is more important than family. I came back and made a tough decision to leave my Hape for The Plague. My friend @DigimentalLDN had sold the company and it was time to move on. I built a relationship with @Pons_ETH and did my best to represent the brand. I still believe he's one of the few good ones in the space. None of that changes. What changed is me. The main mission throughout this time has always been The Mikey G Podcast Experience. Close to 250 founders later, I can tell you with my whole chest, that show is the truest thing I've ever made. The human story behind the builder. People sitting with me for 90 minutes telling me about their childhoods, their failures, what they're trying to become. That's the work. That's what I'm built for. I tried to make it fit in Web3. I really did. I loved this space. Some of the deepest friendships of my adult life happened in Discord servers and Twitter DMs with people I'd never met in person. @Bubble_nft_ . @SPQRAdam . @Mannkind @iamSpacemann @Jambert91 the whole crew. I wouldn't trade those years for anything. But here's the truth, the conversation in this space never moved past chart goes up, chart goes down. I've seen behind the curtian and it's ugly. For as much good I've seen, I've also seen the worst. Pure extraction. No one caring for each other but money and greed. Another gambling ticket. Another meme coin. Another rotation. I kept trying to bring human stories into a room that mostly wanted to talk about exit liquidity. My brand was never going to fit there. Not the version of me that's a husband, a dad, a guy who went to design school and ran brand at GEICO and now wakes up thinking about AI safety and what it means to build something that lasts. So I'm doubling down on me. Three things, going forward: The Mikey G Podcast Experience. Approaching 250 founders. Not going anywhere. The format gets sharper every quarter. The guests get better. The human story behind the builder is the work of my life and I'm just getting started. The Mikey G Marketing Corner. New show with my buddy Chris Byrne, who runs an AI-native creative agency out of LA. We're talking about the collision of creative, AI, and marketing. For those of you who don't know, I came up through brand and design before any of this. Getting back into that conversation feels like coming home. AI Does The Rest. A small experiment. 30 minutes a day. New YouTube channel. No course, no funnel, no "this tool will change your life." Just me, building in public, showing what 30 minutes a day actually produces. I'm tired of the AI grift. I want to show the real thing. And on the AI saftey side, Adam and I are building something we actually believe in. Safety and governance. The hard, unsexy work. More on that as it's ready. What I want to say to you, the people who knew me as @HAPEsocial mod and as a @ThePlagueNFT , thank you. I mean that in a way I'm not sure I know how to type. You let me be a chaotic version of myself for a few years and you stayed. You bought into the bit. You showed up to the spaces. You sent the memes. You picked up the phone when things got hard. I don't forget that. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just not pretending anymore that my brand belongs inside a PFP. We started a Telegram for the people who want to keep talking on a personal level. DMs are open. Let me know if you want to join. I'll still be on the timeline. I'll still cheer for the projects I love. But the work, going forward, is me. Mikey G. No avatar. Just a guy who got really lucky, met some of the best humans on earth, and gets to keep building. Love you, folks. Thank you for being you. Now let's cook.

Most AI Tools Are Fugazi. The AI gold rush is here. And gold rushes don't just bring builders. They bring charlatans. Chris Byrne calls most of it the fugazi. Fancy front end, big funding, falls apart the second you actually use it. The only protection is boring and human. Talk to people you trust. Have the honest conversation about what works and what doesn't. Because the noise is coming. A ton of it. Follow us on the Mikey G Podcast Experience on youtube for honest practical conversations about creative, marketing and AI.

Your Fear of AI Is the Only Thing AI Can't Beat. @swaymolina wife works in HR. They just bought an agent that does her whole job. So yeah, the fear is real. But here's what I told her. The jobs that vanish get replaced by jobs nobody's named yet. The thing that actually sinks you isn't the AI. It's freezing up because you're scared of it. The version of you that learns this stuff is going to lap the version of you that hides from it. Every time. Full conversation with Sway Molina on The Mikey G Podcast Experience. Why Getting Bored Fast Is a Superpower Igor Van Gemert gets bored fast. Turns out that’s the whole engine. A bored mind reflects. A reflecting mind builds. Most people treat boredom like a problem to kill with a screen. Builders sit in it and come out the other side holding something. Full conversation with Igor on The Mikey G Podcast Experience. Human decision-making will be ILLEGAL in 3 years. Not in 20 years. 3. Regulated industries will trust AI more than humans. My guest said it. I agreed. Because we're building the system that replaces human judgment with mathematically verified AI governance. Upload your policies. Define the airspace. If the AI goes out of bounds, we catch it. That's it. That's the whole thing. The era of "trust the human" is ending faster than anyone wants to admit. Check out my latest podcast drop with the legend Igor van Gemert on my newly revamped youtube channel. Link in comments.

The reality of learning and having my main man Sully on a virtual cloud run by codes I'm trying to understand. I'm excited to wake up to my Daily Brief. Instead I get this:

Sully is not my ā€œAI assistant.ā€ He is the operator who survives my chaos. My workflow is simple: Messy intake → clarifying questions → clean task → CRM note → follow-up reminder → next action Most SMBs don’t need more AI strategy. They need fewer things falling through the cracks. Send me a note if you need your own Sully.

The best interface for an AI operator might just be voice notes. Not dashboards. Not forms. Not another productivity system pretending I’m a different person. Just me dumping the chaos into Telegram. Then Sully turns it into: - tasks - follow-ups - CRM notes - reminders - tomorrow’s operator brief Couldn't be more thankful for Sully. Already a life saver.

Most people don’t need a ā€œsecond brain.ā€ They need a lower-friction way to tell what's on their mind. Voice notes into an operator system might be the unlock for me. Not wispr. But voice notes in the platform choice that your agent then listens to and acts upon.

Meet Sully. My new chief of staff. Runs the CRM, chases the follow-ups, preps me for every call, keeps the whole machine moving. Looks like he learned operations in a bar fight. Scarred up. Weathered. A bandaid he won't explain. I asked him once what he did before this. He said "you don't want to know, brother." Fair enough. Seen 12 Notion systems collapse in real time. Watched me start a CRM in Airtable, then Notion, then a Google Sheet, then back to Airtable. Said nothing. Still wakes up every morning convinced today is the day I finally use a task list correctly. I respect the optimism. More from Sully soon.

I can’t iterate enough how powerful it is to be a creator in this day and age.

When @swaymolina was 4, a clown handed him a microphone. His mom worked at a retirement home in Miami. The clown was entertaining the elderly. He called the kid up, put the mic in front of him, and Sway heard his own voice come back through the speakers for the first time. He said the world stopped. That kid is now an AI artist. He was one of the people behind the first AI feature film, a Terminator 2 reinterpretation with 50 filmmakers that Variety and IndieWire covered. He runs a brand called Absrrd. His thesis: in a world that's forcing you to be normal, choose to be absurd. Between the clown at 4 and the brand at 40 was the part nobody puts in the bio. He failed Accounting 1. He couldn't pass English or math. Self-diagnosed ADHD and dyslexia. He ran a small creative agency for 2 years and called himself a failed entrepreneur out loud on my show. He was a magnet for being underestimated. Everywhere he went. Last December, he was about to launch a brand called VidCult. Dark, ominous, cryptic. He built the mood boards. Hated it. Wasn't him. He killed it and built Absrrd instead. And want to talk about magical? We were closing out the conversation and I was thanking him for going there with the clown story. And he says, "You wanna bring it full circle, Mikey? I'm doing clown school." 30 years after a clown handed him a microphone, he's enrolling in clown school. The full episode dropped today. Link below. If you're sitting in a job you don't want, this is the one to listen to.

I don't think I can stress enough about how amazing it is to be a creator and entreprenuer at this moment and time. If you combine that with knowing how to talk to humans and understand their pain points, there are endless possibilites.

Installed Hermes last night. Got excited and then immediately terrified I was going to get hacked. Doing a VM machine install now. Anyone got reccos on the best cloud service solutions for a newbie like me trying to figure this wild wild Hermes world out?

"The world just stopped and froze for me." @swaymolina , on the first time he ever heard his own voice through a speaker. He was a kid at an elderly home. A clown had pulled him up and put a mic in front of him. Something cracked open in that moment. He's spent the rest of his life chasing it. Voice. Body. Creative work. One of my favorite Chapter 1 moments on the show so far. Full episode drops tomorrow. Search The Mikey G Podcast Experience on YouTube.
