I believe people are UNDER-estimating the cost and limiting effect on their lives of getting a dog before they get one.
And they are OVER-estimating the cost and complexity of having a baby.
And they are reaching this conclusion because they see so many dogs around and think "Can't be that hard. Everyone is doing it"
My hope is that someday, they see so many babies around they reach the same conclusion through the same reasoning.
I think you the direction wrong as people aren’t getting married or having kids, they chose dogs as companions, but if you outlawed dogs tomorrow, you’d see no rise in children imo.
