Thanks to Luca from Mears for showing the third year vocational scientists round the school boiler room. We used infra red cameras to identify heat spots and where energy was being ‘lost’.

Local nuclear fusion scientist Uron gave a talk to all 3 higher physics classes on the inter nations fusion project ITER A very well pitched presentation and good revision of many topics in higher physics.

Last period of term in science with all classes fully engaged in learning but usually with a “fun” twist. Choice chambers with woodlice for S1 and S6 but the AH class built the chambers from Lego (thanks Mrs Oates).Blooket online quiz games and first year solving revision puzzles
