So… what does it clofazimean?
NDH2 heterogeneity may act as a metabolic rheostat, enhancing parasite adaptability.
Host diet, metabolism, microbiome, and immune pressure likely reshape parasite redox balance and drive allele dynamics.
3rd edition of the cheese bracket, and we have an winner: Cabriolait from Belgium! 🧀
On its way to 1st place, it defeated one Italian, two US, and one Swiss cheese. An impressive run!
🧑🔬 The program for the scientific session of the ParaFrap Next Generation in Parasitology Workshop is now available!
🎟️ A few places are still available to attend the session in Montpellier. Registration is free but mandatory.

Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
ALT Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region.
In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks. Central peaks form in complex craters when the lunar surface, liquefied on impact, splashes upwards during the crater’s formation. Credit: NASA
Did a little experiment with Hannah and her friend from school: they collected some cheek cells from saliva and looked at them under the microscope.
Their excitement when the cells came into view was priceless. A nice reminder that even simple experiments can sparkcuriosity. 🔬
🚨New paper out 🚨 Excited to see this work from Joe Visone and me published! Here we dissect the molecular mechanisms behind var2csa transcription and translation. Take a look👇
