yup exactly lol and that’s been the majority of my fandom experience until now. in fact for one fandom I was the first fic in not only the ship tag but the entire fandom tag a few years ago lol 500 kudos being comically low is pretty out of touch
people who claim that below 500 kudos is comically low have NEVER been a part of a small fandom or shipped a rare pairing... Like girl, how am I supposed to reach 500 kudos if there's 7 of us in total 😭

like being part of small fandoms was really a great experience ngl because it was so much more peaceful. people were so chill and I really feel it helped me put a lot into perspective. I HAD to create primarily for myself and my 2 feral friends with the same interests
