i don’t think there’s ever been a point in this space where things were easy, but one thing that’s gotten worse is the pressure to always be online and always be doing something.
people see someone taking a break and instantly assume they’re not serious enough, when sometimes that break is exactly what keeps them from burning out completely.
being tired doesn’t mean you’re lazy.
needing space doesn’t mean you’ve lost your ambition.
at the end of the day, none of these opportunities are worth losing yourself over.
be kind to yourself fr 🧡
hoping this post makes it to the people who need it ❤️
today I was thinking about how mental health in this space is often treated as a synonym for laziness, weakness, or simply “not locking in enough.”
but the truth is, constantly being online, chasing opportunities, dealing with uncertainty, comparing yourself to others, and trying to keep up with an industry that never sleeps can be exhausting.
if you’re struggling, it doesn’t mean you’re lazy.
if you’re tired, it doesn’t mean you’re not ambitious.
if you need a break, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
your mental health matters just as much as your productivity.
please be kind to yourself. 🫂
