Need a book about rebuilding life after loss, forbidden lust, and learning how to love yourself again? I'm pretty proud that it shows single parents, neurodivergent kids, and why it's just as important in a romance to fall back in love with yourself. shorturl.at/RwtBZ

Looookkkk! My book went on vacation. So jealous. I heard second-chance romances go well with sun and relaxation.

It's always nerve-wracking when you know a reader has read all your books. Deep down, you want every book to hit harder than the last. This review is everything to me because I can still remember when she liked my first book and how much her words meant to me.

I was afraid to eat the honey dew. I don’t know which would have been more heartbreaking, if it had been too sweet or too tasteless. It was perfect and in one bite it brought me back to my childhood, and you. There was sweetness wasn’t there? Since your death I don’t let my..

I love setting a reminder on my phone just so I can see it, forget it, and then curse an hour later when I remember I didn't do the task I set the reminder for. Follow me for more tips on inefficiency.

Best day to go to the library? When they let you know they ordered your new book! Nothing makes me swoon more than a library label on my book.

Seems like a good day to burn it all to the ground. Or maybe I just need another cup of coffee?

Sorry if I got heart juice on you. Someone wrote me that they found my first book in a little library. And my author heart burst with happiness.

Does anyone else have to tell their cat, “the kale is not for you!?”

My girl cat holds her boundaries. Never runs from a dog but saunters slowly knowing she is in full control. She gives love on her terms. Takes love on her terms. She knows she’s gorgeous. Yeah, I want to be like her too.

It's Women's Fiction Day. Why do I write women's fiction? I love strong female characters. I have three daughters whom I secretly write all my books for. I write what I want them to learn when I'm no longer here. How to handle grief. How to prioritize yourself.

How to love yourself year after year. Yes, these messages also work whether you are my daughter or a 50-year-old man. So I write Women's Fiction for all of us.

Help. I might be in a toxic relationship. The highs. The lows. The uncertainty. The obsession. The passion. The cold distant feeling of never being enough. Does every author feel this way about writing?

My friend came to visit. I don’t know where her spouse is. I haven’t seen them a part in a long time. I’m just letting her sit and rest but I so want the scoop. Except whenever I get near her, it’s clear she just wants some peace. Picture next - think she’s happier without him?

Meet Daisy. In the first few versions of this book, I never used the word autism. I said neurodivergence. For me, as a mother to an autistic child, it was so obvious. But readers didn’t understand the character of Daisy. They thought when she was rude, instead of overstimulated.

When I added the word autism, readers became thankful for the perspective. And their hearts opened for Daisy. Why didn’t I want to use the word? It was because I knew I was going to represent the world I knew. And autism is one word with so many different children with so many…

different needs & support. I didn’t want any mom to read my book & not feel seen. I wrote this book so that my own daughters can feel seen, & see their unique brains brought to life with love. And when more people can look at autism with love & not judgement, we all win.

You get to know a lot about a foster dog when they stay with you. Their fears, loves, and quirks. All my clients learned this week that this dog likes to attend Zoom meetings. He puts his paws on the kitchen table and stares at the people. Maybe he's meant for upper management?

It's fun to think I did this interview in 2022, and she put those answers in too. What's changed since my first book and third? I still love pigs. I still love to read. But so much in between. I'm so proud of Square Hearts and all that it represents. hastybooklist.com/blog/autho…
